Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 24, 2026
This policy explains what information True North Christian Advisors collects through truenorthchristianadvisors.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language.
Who We Are
True North Christian Advisors is a consulting practice serving Christian K-12 schools across the United States, founded by Paul Harrell. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean True North Christian Advisors.
What We Collect
Information you give us. When you use a form on this site, we collect what you type in:
- Contact form: your name, email address, school (optional), your message, and your answer to "How did you hear about us?" (optional).
- School Health Check: your name, email address, and your Health Check answers and score.
We do not ask for payment information, and we ask you not to send sensitive personal information about students, staff, or families through our forms.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, analytics tools collect information such as pages viewed, time on page, the site that referred you, your approximate location (city level), device type, and browser. We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager. These tools use cookies and similar technologies. They help us understand how the site is used as a whole; we do not use them to identify you personally.
How you found us. This site also keeps a short note in your own browser (local storage, not a cookie) of the pages you visit here and the site or campaign link that brought you. It stays on your device and is never sent to us unless you submit a form. When you do, it is sent with your form so we know how you found us. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
How We Use It
- To reply to you when you contact us.
- To learn how you found us, if you tell us, so we know which channels reach schools.
- To send you the School Health Check when you request it.
- To understand which pages help people and which do not, so we can improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and working.
What We Do Not Do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with anyone for their own marketing.
Service Providers
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our email. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:
- Website hosting: Vercel Inc. hosts this site.
- Form submissions: sent to our email and saved to a private Google Sheet, both in our Google Workspace account.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager (Google LLC).
- Email: Google Workspace (Google LLC) delivers your form submissions to us and carries our replies to you.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our practice or others.
Cookies and How to Opt Out
Cookies are small files your browser stores. Our analytics cookies are not needed for the site to work. You can:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available from Google at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How Long We Keep It
We keep form submissions and email correspondence for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of our work with schools. Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in our Google Analytics account.
Your Choices
- Access, correction, or deletion: to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, send a request through our contact form and say what you would like done.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law.
Children
This site is for school leaders, board members, and adults working in Christian education. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including an encrypted (HTTPS) connection on every page. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please do not send anything through our forms that you would not want to share.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
